Tell us about yourself Took a two-year course in auto upholstery at a community college in San Marcos, California. Started doing upholstery and making lots of mistakes in 1982. Five years later, felt that I had learned enough to take on any job. Worked for three very different shops (show cars, general auto trim, and auto/furniture shop) in the 1990s and learned a lot from other trimmers. Should have done that right after school! Learned a lot from Nat Danas and the former National Association of Auto Trim Shops and would love to see a trade association become a reality again.
